Happy New Year, friends! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season.
I’m popping in today with a little update on life and the future of this site, since an exciting new job opportunity opened the doors for me in December. As many of you know, I’ve made White House Crafts my full time gig since the beginning. I started this blog and shop back in 2015, a few months after I was let go from my marketing job. I find myself lucky to have been given that opportunity to work in the comfort of my home for so long, but the time has come for me to get back on my working feet. I’ve taken a job and I’m pretty excited about it, although it’s going to be a huge adjustment for me and I know it.
What’s this mean for WHC? I am hoping that my hours away from here won’t affect the blog too much. While I do anticipate the blog may slow down for a little bit in the beginning until I can figure out how to balance both jobs, I won’t be closing the doors on it any time soon. As my 4-year-old daughter says: “No way, Jose!” I absolutely love this space on the Web, and I’m not ready to move on from it yet. I will also continue to process your orders in a timely matter, and update the shop occasionally with new products.
So the reason I bring up any of this at all is that if I do go M.I.A. for a while, it’s not that I’m not leaving you! That’s not in the books.
So thank you friends for all your support so far. I can’t wait to start sharing here again soon (but as I type this I’m suffering from the worst cold – ugh). And a big thank you to my hubby for my new Happy Planner (shown above)! It’s going to help make this transition easier – I hope.
