One of my very favorite home décor accessories is a candle. They come in all shapes, sizes, and styles (heck, you can even buy flameless!), so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find a look that matches your aesthetic. When they’re lit, candles create such a unique vibe in a room, too. I keep sweet-smelling, wax-filled tins on my desk to relieve stress on particularly overwhelming days, and John and I love to light up a set of tapered candles at the dinner table just for fun any day of the week.
This month, I wanted to test my DIY skills with candle-making, but not necessarily in the traditional sense of melting and pouring wax. I decided to save that slightly more complicated project for another day, and instead looked around our house for supplies that I already had on hand for creating a candle holder that you guys could easily replicate in your own homes.
The final product? A set of four Minimalist Mason Jar Candle Holders that you can literally put together in less than 10 minutes using everyday household items that are likely already tucked away in your cabinet or closet! Hop over to Oriental Trading for all of the DIY details, but trust me when I say that this simple tutorial is one that you won’t mind replicating over and over again this season.
P.S. Have you voted for our space in this year’s Design Dash hosted by La-Z-Boy yet?! See the room I made over with my Glitter Guide teammate, Caitlin Kruse, here. Each vote enters you for a chance to win $15,000 to put towards a room of your OWN, so don’t wait!
